The Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority is adding a full-time Police Officer to perform duties related to airport security and the safety and security of persons and facilities at the Eugene F. Kranz Toledo Express Airport, to perform duties consistent with TSA 1540/1542 and FAA Part 139 regulations, including assisting with aircraft emergencies and snow removal operations, and to provide effective coordination with external government agencies as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.    Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

2.    Certified law enforcement officer in the State of Ohio as determined by the Ohio Peace Officers Training Council, with two (2) years of law enforcement experience preferred. If not certified in the State of Ohio, must have the ability and willingness to obtain such certification

3.    At least 21 years of age

4.    No Criminal Record

Wage at hire is $31.10 per hour.

‍The Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority seeks a Maintenance Worker to assist in maintaining the Eugene F. Kranz Toledo Express Airport, Toledo Executive Airport, and the Seagate Heliport building systems, facilities, airfield systems, and equipment, and to perform skilled troubleshooting and maintenance work on plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning systems, building control systems, access control systems, security camera systems, and airfield systems.‍‍ ‍

Compensation: per Collective Bargaining Unit Agreement; currently $32.62 per hour, together with a comprehensive benefit package. ‍‍ ‍

Qualifications include:

1.    High School Graduate or GED.‍ ‍

2.    Satisfactory results on physical (including urinalysis to determine unlawful drug usage), written and oral examinations.‍ ‍

3.    Satisfactory results on a background investigation, including a Federal fingerprint-based criminal history background check.‍ ‍

4.    Must have or be able to obtain a valid Driver License.‍ ‍

5.    Must be able to obtain a TOL-issued Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge with movement area privileges.‍ ‍

6.    Must be available for recall during non-duty hours for emergencies, snow removal, or other required duties.‍ ‍

7.    Be insurable and maintain insurability for the operation of motor vehicles.‍ ‍

8.    Graduation from a trade school/apprenticeship preferred, including HVAC and/or Electrician certification.‍ ‍

9.    Possession of a Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License preferred.‍ ‍

The Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority seeks a full-time project Engineer / Project Manager to perform drafting and other technical assistance required to support the function of the Planning, Engineering, and Operations division, and to assist with the implementation and management of projects at all levels, including concepts, design, construction, and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Certified as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Ohio

Bachelor of Science degree in construction technology or engineering discipline

Knowledge of construction materials and methods, including building codes;

At least two (2) years of construction inspection, project coordination and management experience, preferably with a government agency

Proficient in AutoCAD software

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Completion of U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-hour course in construction or general industry safety and health hazards preferred

ArcView GIS knowledge and experience preferred
