The Toledo–Lucas County Port Authority is seeking a part‑time Receptionist to support front‑desk operations. In this team-based role, the Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers and provides general administrative assistance to ensure smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities
Represent the Port Authority with a professional appearance and pleasant demeanor
Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner
Answer, screen, and route incoming calls using a multi‑line phone system
Provide general clerical support, including data entry and document preparation
Coordinate incoming/outgoing mail and manage deliveries
Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Ability to operate a multi-line phone system
Strong verbal communication and customer‑service skills
Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, email, calendar system)
Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment

Pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday 8:00am-12:30pm & Friday 12:30pm-5:00pm; additional hours as needed to support operations
Location: One Maritime Plaza, Toledo, OH

The Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority seeks a Maintenance Worker to assist in maintaining the Eugene F. Kranz Toledo Express Airport, Toledo Executive Airport, and the Seagate Heliport building systems, facilities, airfield systems, and equipment, and to perform skilled troubleshooting and maintenance work on plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning systems, building control systems, access control systems, security camera systems, and airfield systems.
Compensation: per Collective Bargaining Unit Agreement; currently $32.62 per hour, together with a comprehensive benefit package.
Qualifications include:
1. High School Graduate or GED.
2. Satisfactory results on physical (including urinalysis to determine unlawful drug usage), written and oral examinations.
3. Satisfactory results on a background investigation, including a Federal fingerprint-based criminal history background check.
4. Must have or be able to obtain a valid Driver License.
5. Must be able to obtain a TOL-issued Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge with movement area privileges.
6. Must be available for recall during non-duty hours for emergencies, snow removal, or other required duties.
7. Be insurable and maintain insurability for the operation of motor vehicles.
8. Graduation from a trade school/apprenticeship preferred, including HVAC and/or Electrician certification.
9. Possession of a Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License preferred.
