PROJECT ENGINEER / PROJECT MANAGER

The Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority seeks a full-time project Engineer / Project Manager to perform  drafting and other technical assistance required to support the function of the Planning, Engineering, and Operations division, and to assist with the implementation and management of projects at all levels, including concepts, design, construction, and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor of Science degree in construction technology or engineering discipline;
  2. Knowledge of construction materials and methods, including building codes;
  3. At least two (2) years of construction inspection, project coordination and management experience, preferably with a government agency;
  4. Proficient in AutoCAD software;

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Certified as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Ohio highly preferred;
  2. Completion of U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-hour course in construction or general industry safety and health hazards preferred;
  3. ArcView GIS knowledge and experience preferred;

Salary range at hire is $73,000-98,000 to be commensurate with credentials and experience, together with a comprehensive benefit package.

ARG Facilities Operations Supervisor

The Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority, through ARG Services, Inc., seeks a full-time Facilities Operations Supervisor to assist in asset protection and daily operation of Port Authority facilities and equipment as directed by its Facilities Manager.

Qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • One (1) year of asset protection and/of facility operations experience or closely related field.
  • Effective internal communication and external customer service skills.
  • Ability to perform, guide and communicate during emergency situations.
  • Computer literate, specifically Microsoft Office Suite and other operations computer programs.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.

Work Hours: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Wage Rate: $18.00 per hour.
